I am Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen working at the intersection of philosophy, economics, and finance. My work sits in the history and philosophy of financial economics, with a focus on how financial models function in practice.

Before joining Groningen, I held positions at Erasmus University Rotterdam and was a Research Fellow at the Center for the History of Political Economy at Duke University. I received my PhD in Philosophy from Erasmus University Rotterdam with a dissertation on the use of models in economics.
